Riverpaw padded through some thick undergrowth and over some rocks when she reached the camp. "Behold our beautiful camp!" she mewed.

"Wow!" I said happily. The camp was really nice.

[Sister Jet]

Riverpaw lead them through the thick gorse tunnel entrance. She pointed her tail to the right. "That's the warriors den," she mewed. "It is thick with brambles and is closest to the entrance in case of any emergencies." She walked a little bit farther then pointed to a large hole in the wall of the camp. "If you squeeze through that you'll come to the apprentinces den. It isn't really the comfiest, but there's no limit to the moss you put into it!" She padded to a very tall rock. "That's the Great Boulder, or where Dogstar makes his announcments, see that other smaller boulder leaning against it? Well that makes his den."

Sparkleheart smelt a new cat. She left Riverpaw and Dogstar to go deal with the new cats. Then she set out to find the source of the unfamiliar scent.

Ghostpaw followed them into camp, and looked around.

Birdspark winced as she took another pawstep. "Soot, why'd you have to leave...?" She whispered to herself.

Riverpaw continued with her tour. "And that over there-" she mewed pointing her nose to a fallen tree, "is the elders den." She padded around to the thickest den, it had a small pool, not to deep, but not to shallow, next to it. "This is the nursery. Since Dogstar is from RiverClan, he likes to teach kits how to swim." Then lastly she padded over to a sandy ditch with lots of shade and protection. "This, as you've probably already guessed, is the medicine cat den."

I saw a vole as I was out hunting. I licked my lips and pounced on it, killing it in a single swipe. I heard a rive near by, and thought this would be my oppertunity to catch a fish. I buried my vole, and padded over to the stream. TONS of fish were swimming in it. I smiled. I had never caught a fish before. I got in position... but no fish. I then realized I cast a shadow. I moved and they came back. I scooped one up, and threw it out. I had caught a fish!

Sparkleheart came up behind her. "Good catch," she mewed. "I was just out looking for herbs. I'm glad it's Newleaf now, so we wont have to worry about greencough."

I nodded, not wanting to think of any sort of cough.
"Apparently, I taught myself." I said, still amazed that I actually caught something.

Pantherheart padded around camp, his black pelt looked silky amongst the sunny sky, he flicked his tail as he breathed in, his let out a short mew and began padding through camp.

"That's amazing," she mewed. "You should tell Dogstar. He'd be impressed. I hear he is going to pick the deputy soon. I've got to go, duty calls!" she picked up the herbs and ran back in the direction of camp.

Pantherheart paced back and forth eagerly, his paws padded the rough ground, his claws sliding in and out. His ears twitched feverishly as Dogstar came through the camp, already at Pantherheart's feet were four rabbits, two crows, and three mice. He had been hunting all day, and he wasn't sure if he should offer the big rabbit to the queens, the elders, the medicine cat, or him. He winced as he felt a paw prick on his leg, it was Spiritsong.
