One stormy day a young ShadowClan apprentince named Aquapaw was fighting a battle against WindClan. They had gotten as far as the gorge when Aquapaw began to feel nervous. She wasn't a very good swimmer, and she would be one of the first to leave camp if a huge flood struck. Imagine falling into AHH! she thought as she and Foxpaw of WindClan were bowled over into the gorge. "No!" she shouted. The ShadowClan and WindClan cats watched for a moment in sadness as the apprentinces were swept away, never to put their paws on dry land before they went to StarClan again... or so they thought.

Foxpaw woke up and coughed. He and Aquapaw had survived the gorge! StarClan must of been watching them the whole time. This must be an omen, he thought. When he got back he knew he would be welcomed with the greatest care. Maybe he would even get his warrior name! Suddenly Foxpaw heard Aquapaw call him off somewhere. "Aquapaw?" he mewed. He jumped when she popped out at him. "Foxpaw, I am no longer Aquapaw, I am Aquastar," she mewed. Aquastar? thought Foxpaw. Oh no, not more silly tricks. "Foxpaw i'm serious!" she mewed. "Here, follow me." Foxpaw just yawned, but still followed, knowing that it couldn't be much, but he was wrong.

Aquastar led him into a Badger set. This is my new favorite place! she thought. Suddenly the den lit up to be a sparkly cavern with glittering walls. She padded up to a crystal, and touched her nose to it. "This is the Moongem," she mewed. "We are to make a clan, Foxpaw, you will be my loyal Deputy Foxstorm."

Diamondpaw looked around, her paws knew the direction to go. She had been going over these trails for awhile, her paws took her to a two-leg fence, inside were bushes full of catnip.

She looked over in a tree and A silver cat was perched in it. "Foxstorm!" she called and looked back at the cat. It jumped down from the tree and sat in front of her

Aquastar quickly explained what they were doing. SHe let out a big sigh and asked, "SO what do you say? Want to become a warrior?"
The cat pondered for a little bit and finally answered, "I'll do it. Have you found your medicine cat? I'll help you." and followed them

Diamondpaw wove her way through the camp sorting herbs, she sighed quietly, if oinly she had a mentor. She looked at the sky, stars were seeping through the sky as she lifted her muzzle. She needed a sign.

Aquastar nodded and turned to Foxstorm, "Any sightings?" she asked

She looked over at Foxstorm and said,"I know a cat who sees things. Eveyone thinks shes crazy. She keeps on talking 'bout starry cats. I didnt belive it was like this. Maybe she could be the medicine cat?"

Aquastar looked over at the she-cat,"Can you show her us?"

"Sure. Follow me."

Kestrelpaw skidded to a halt outside of the medicine cat's den. "I have a thorn in my pad." she whined. Diamondpaw nodded.

"Hole out you paw."

"But..."

"Hold it out." she said calmly, "I'm not going to hurt you. Diamond paw pulled it out, and Kestrelpaw gave a small whimper but padded out. Luckily there was no blood, perhaps it was a sign, perhaps someone was coming to help. She cringed as she saw the size of the needle, it was huge.

They walked over to this black cat and explained the situation. The cat nodded and explained her dreams. they took her in and walked back to camp.
