Riverfrost heard a cry of desperation. She picked up her herbs and gasped when she saw someone was sinking in mud! "Hold on!" she cried, jumping into the water. Being careful not to touch the muddy bottom, she swam torwards the tom.

Flamefoot's head began to sink lower, "Riverfrost hel-" his voice was cut short as he took a gasp, and plunged below the surface, he thrashed below water as his lungs began to scream for air....

Riverfrost grabbed his scruff and yanked him out, sputtering into the water. She gasped for breath but managed to pull them both out on the drier side of the river.

Riverfrost grabbed the herbs she had been carrying. Lucky for her some of them could be useful. She gave the right herbs then began to push her paws on to his chest, getting the water out.

Flamefoot choked up the water he had swallowed, his breathing became quicker and he rolled over. then he sat up and thanked Riverfrost, a little embarressed.

Dreamstar looked out from her perch, Flamefoot came limping into camp coughing up water, he looked tired, claws tensing. Dreamstar leaped off her pearch and ran down, "What happened?" she asked.

"Fell in the river." he panted, Dreamster looked at him unsurley, but nodded.

"Go rest."

"Attack! On the border!" he panted.

"Speckledpaw go to the nurse!" Flamefoot said, "Let's go!"
