She turned towards Spiritsoul who came padding up, and she kept thinking, 'so young...'.

Dogstar padded around. He wondered what Dreamstar was thinking about. Then he saw Larkkit. So she never survived that terrible greencough... he thought sadly.

"Hey Dogstar!" Larkkit squeaked.

Never was afraid to do anything... "Oh, hi Larkkit," he mewed. "Doesn't it hurt to die? Not to feel the pain, but to see all your loved ones in pain..."

Dreamstar looked over her shoulder, a small kit had bounded into the leader's formed circle. She smiled and then thought of her own forbidden kits... three survivors down on earth... somewhere in the forest.

I sat down,thinking of Blackstar,the cat I had loved. He had been from OakClan,we had loved each other...until his clan found out. Wanting to keep himself as leader,he killed me,to show he really did "not" love me,even though he had. I was watching him now...he was flirting with a pretty tortiseshell cat...I was jealous with rage.

I looked over the edge of a sparkling pool, instead of the stars reflecting in the water, she saw cats, "It's amazing how many forbidding loves lurk in the forests, like dark shadows lurking is the guilit that follows you everywhere." Tears formed in the corners of her eyes as she looked at her own clan down below, "I was in love too, with a rougue. He rescued me when I was an apprintice, his name was..." Her voice cut short as she shed a tear, then she turned away.

Spiritsong lay on her back staring into the swirls of light shed from the stars above. Lionsoul padded up behind her,
"Don't be mad..." he whispered, but she turned away. "Please Aoura!" Both had small nicknames for each other, as if they were rougues.
